How do I receive the properties you find?
You will receive appropriate offers via WhatsApp, SMS or email, depending on your preference.
Hoelang duurt het na inschrijven voordat ik huurwoningen ontvang?
Na het inschrijven kan het variëren hoe snel je huurwoningen van ons ontvangt, afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid en jouw zoekcriteria. We proberen altijd zo snel mogelijk passend aanbod te sturen.
In welke steden kan Hauzy helpen?
Wij zijn voornamelijk actief in de Randstad, waaronder Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Leiden, Haarlem en omliggende gebieden.
Wat doet Hauzy precies voor mij?
Hauzy begeleidt je actief bij het vinden van een huurwoning: van zoekprofiel en selectie tot bezichtiging, contractbegeleiding, inspectierapport en sleuteloverdracht. Indien nodig helpen we ook met nutsvoorzieningen.
Working method & Process
Do I have to keep looking myself?
That is allowed, but it is not necessary. Many customers search for it themselves. If you find something for yourself, we would be happy to take a look with you.
How does the registration process work?
You register via our website and state your housing needs. After that, we'll review your profile and get in touch to discuss your chances.
What documents do I need to provide if I am interested in a home?
Landlords usually ask for a registration form, a personal introduction, a copy of the ID (BSN protected), employer statement and payslips. Freelancers often provide annual results and a Chamber of Commerce extract. We will help you with this.
Can I change my search criteria in the meantime?
Yes, that is always possible. Flexibility often increases the chances of success.
How do you select homes?
We select homes based on your wishes, budget and feasibility. We only forward offers where we see opportunities.
Costs & Contracts
What is a sustainable communal household?
A form of society where residents demonstrate that they form a stable household.
Are there any other costs besides your fee?
No. You only pay the rent, deposit and our one-off fee if successful.
Do you help check the rental contract?
Yes, we will review the contract with you and explain what it says.
When do I have to pay?
You only pay our fee after you sign the rental contract.
What kind of rental contracts do I come across?
Most homes have an indefinite contract. Sometimes temporary contracts are possible.
How much is the deposit (deposit)?
The deposit is usually 1 to 2 months' rent. This varies by landlord.
What does “no cure, no pay” mean?
You only pay when we have found a home for you and you have signed the rental contract. The allowance is one month's rent + 21% VAT. No home = no costs.
Expats & International Tenants
What documents do I need as an expat?
Usually a passport, employment contract or offer letter and salary details.
Can I rent without a BSN or Dutch bank account?
In many cases, yes. This depends on the landlord.
Is a guarantor possible?
Yes, with some hosts. The conditions vary.
Do you also help with online viewings?
Yes, if the host allows it.
Can Hauzy help if I'm still abroad?
Yes, including online viewings and document preparation.
Reliability & Security
Do I have one fixed point of contact?
Yes, you have one permanent contact person.
At what times can you be reached?
We are available 7 days a week from 09:00 to 18:00.
How does contact occur during the search?
You'll receive updates via your chosen channel.
Can I contact you by phone?
After registration, we can be reached via WhatsApp and email.
How do I know if a home is reliable?
We pay attention to contracts, communication and identity of the landlord.
Do you help prevent scams?
Yes. We warn about risks such as paying before viewing.
Can I get advice before I sign?
Sure. We always advise before you sign.
What if I'm unsure about a home?
Then we will look at the property and conditions together.
